About The Job
This job is a member of the Information Technology Team, within the Information Technology Division. This position will be responsible for guiding the team to successfully deliver tasks using all resources available. The Lead must be knowledgeable in voice and data order delivery, change management, software development and financial management to provide on-the-job training, new-hire orientation and process improvement.
Specifically, you'll do the following:
- Provides status to leaders on the team’s progress, training needs and delivery concerns
- Fosters collaboration and keeps team members motivated and engaged while maintaining a positive environment
- Ensures discussions and decisions lead toward closure and expectations are communicated clearly to team members
- Provides reporting status of team activities against the program plan or schedule
- Conducts research, interviews, and analysis to develop initiative scope and costs to be submitted for approvals
- Assists developer(s) in identifying and establishing requirements for software projects
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
- 3 years of project management experience using Agile and DevOps methodologies
- 2 years of experience leading enterprise level software projects
- 2 years of experience leading large network/infrastructure projects
- Experience using Planview and Rally a must
- Self-directed, confident, high-level of initiative and desires working in a fast paced environment
- Skilled and comfortable handling multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Understanding of how data networks are put together and function to move traffic
- Experience in managing constraints and risk around IT Infrastructure delivery
- Good understanding managing project closely tied to network security and its practices
- Ability to create and maintain solid documentation
- Ability to identify challenges, risks and opportunities
- Ability to handle coordination efforts between multiple teams and vendors; internal and remote
- Detailed oriented with an ability to grasp and see the big picture
- Ability to mentor, mediate and negotiate
- Strong planning, analytical and organizational capabilities
- Ability to work well in team environment and build relationships
- Able to work with minimal supervision, flexible and works well under pressure

Preferred Qualifications
- 6 + years of project management experience using Agile and DevOps methodologies
- 2 + years leading enterprise level software projects
- 3 + years leading large network/infrastructure projects
- ITIL Certification
- Ability to explain technical concepts and adjust messaging based on the audience, including non-technical groups
- Ability to influence through outstanding interpersonal skills, collaboration and negotiation skills
