Senior Corporate Lawyer – Litigation at El Sewedy Electric
Location: 10th of Ramadan & New Cairo
Job Requirements:
- Education: B.Sc. of Law
- Years of Experience 5 to 7 years
- Language: Good in English
- Computer skills: Microsoft office
- Good Knowledgeable about local and international laws, local interpretations, developments and trends in Egypt.
- Have an awareness of business strategy
- Able to transform legal issues into a workable solution within a business context
Job Description:
- Consult and manage all corporate legal processes (commercial disputes, company set up, contracts reviewing, mergers and acquisitions,cases etc.)
- Makes legal research to ensure that business of the Corporate is in compliance with the current rules and regulations.
- Study, anticipate and protect the corporate against legal risks.
- Structure, draft and review reports, contracts and other legal documents such as Ordinary General Assembly, Extra Ordinary General Assembly, Board Of Directors Meetings .
- Negotiate deals and attend company meetings.
- Understand and support the business needs.
- Monitor the implementation of the local laws and regulations and company wide policies.
- Represent Elsewedy Legal to outside customers, in particular the government and industry associations.
- Handle legal issues related to litigation, investigation and labor law.
- Manage legal housekeeping (archiving of contracts, official documents, litigation documents, etc.).
- Drive and coordinate the development of appropriate written local policies, procedures and training programs.
- Share legal information and expertise with all businesses.
- Managing relationships with external legal counsels engaged by the Company and driving for cost effective means for delivering high quality legal services supporting the Legal
- Filing all the cases from or against the Company and undertakes its entry into the system and upload all the documents relevant to the cases.
- Preparing summons and memos related to the cases.
- Attending all the hearings related to such cases from or against the Company.
- Preparing the Cases reports.
- Responsible of the liaison between the Company and the external counsels and Law firms.
- Attending meetings with the external counsels and law firms.
- Responsible for police reports and investigations.
- Provide legal advice to case investigation teams on a day to day basis.
