Job Description:

  • Drive the PPC and SEO agenda for the AMET (Africa, Middle East and Turkey) cluster by ensuring that the fundamentals are in place in each of the local markets, efficiencies are achieved and a share and learn mindset is adapted.
  • Provide and communicate strategic direction on PPC and SEO campaign initiatives – identifying key messages, and value propositions that maximizes sales, considering econometric and ROI insights
  • Oversee the entire search strategy for Ecommerce, Education and Awareness.
  • Raise awareness of the importance of PPC and SEO within the organization. Train and coach the marketing team in the local markets on the discipline to ensure that local markets have the capability to embed the approach into their overall communication strategies
  • Own and nurture the agency (PPC and SEO) relationships and partner with Google to drive the PPC and Performance agenda. Negotiate and ensure top quality delivery from our digital agencies and secure standardization in the online space.
  • Ensure that the MENA brand websites have a strong content strategy which is strategically linked to the PPC and SEO strategy that drives growth (market share and website visitors)
  • Monitor and report on SEM news/trends and competitive sets to identify new opportunities
  • Strong knowledge of web analytics tools to build performance reports, business updates and identify new opportunities which will drive stronger ROI
  • Generate and package up findings and insights monthly that are share with the business that will help strengthen consumer insight, media plans and precision marketing

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing / Digital Marketing, or any related degree. MBA from a reputable school would be preferred

Relevant Experience:

  • 3 – 4 years’ experience in media and digital Marketing. Experience from a multinational or regional company in preferably FMCG

Technical Knowledge/ Skills/ Training required:

  • Experience with media agency and communications management is essential
  • Experience managing social, content and digital
  • Strong understanding of building and integrating digital with ATL and activations
