Service Workshop Manager - FAMCO - Al Futtaim (Volvo Buses) - Abu Dhabi 

 

Famco have proudly been awarded a new long term contract to supply and maintain 168 buses for DOT in Abu Dhabi. A contract that will be delivered over 2 years and maintained for 8 years. Hence, we need to hire a skilled Service / Workshop Manager to take care of bus business aftermarket in Abu Dhabi and manage the contract as well as the team responsible for this contract.

 

Duties include:

• Manager Abu Dhabi workshop and workshop team to achieve the budget
• Manage the DOT maintenance contract 
• The hire of all workshop team for bus workshop
• Coordinate with different bus customers for contract renewals, payment collection, job card approvals
• Maintain direct contact with customer for all AM related activities including monthly reports to FAMCO management and customer.

 

Education: Bachelor degree of mechanical engineering

 

Minimum Experience and Knowledge:  Extensive experience in commercial vehicles technical roles in buses specifically and 5-7 years of workshop managerial experience

 

Job-Specific/Technical Skills required to complete the tasks: Bus technical knowledge, admin and managerial experience, customer interface experience, manufacturer knowledge preferred
