About The Job

This job is a member of the Revenue Management Team within the Revenue Management Division. ​This position will be responsible for yield management planning and development. This role will provide opportunities to influence the strategic direction of yield management.

 

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

  • Manages projects to enhance and develop American Airline's pricing/yield related systems
  • Identifies and implements best practices,
  • Training and supporting system users
  • Works collaboratively to develop and promote employees
  • Works effectively with internal and external partners
  • Report development
  • Ad hoc analysis
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • ​Bachelor's degree with significant coursework in a quantitative discipline (economics, mathematics, engineering, finance, etc.) or equivalent experience/training
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, including the ability to assemble information, extract pertinent facts, draw logical conclusions, and present recommendations
  • Familiarity with software programs used in conducting quantitative analysis (Oracle, SAS, etc.)
  • Refined skills Microsoft Office software (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Self motivated
  • Effective in a fast changing environment
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • Capable of assimilating and leveraging team's knowledge in support of ongoing and future projects
  • Skilled in consensus building across an organization
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex technical information across large data sets
