Software Sales Specialist – DPS at Dell – UAE

Job Description:

  • SW Specialists will be capable of adding expertise at any phase of the sales cycle (Competitive positioning, Building and presenting TCO analysis, Negotiating pricing and licensing models)
  • In addition, SW Specialists will: Adapt and apply programs for local markets, Track, analyze, and report SW metrics to local management, Accelerate the adoption of specialist solutions. For example Cloud Solutions, Champion DPS SW with all EMC GTM stakeholders
  • Global sharing of best practices and programs (Tech refresh opportunities, Pick a fight contests, ELA & VSLA conversions)
  • All DPS Reps will sell SW and have incentive on it

Job Requirements:

Relevant Experience:

  • Significant direct sales experience for Software solutions. Data Protection market experience required +10 years

Technical Knowledge/ Skills/ Training required:

  • Proven success in solution selling. Large Corporation sales experience required
  • Experience with partner management either in demand generation or fulfillment capacity. Experience in developing and executing channel programs required.
  • Previous channel management role preferred. Must be able to create ROI models and sell use case value to the customer and within EMC
  • Creativity to shape a deal and to promote the Software offerings. Fundamental understanding of Software licensing and contracts
  • Will be seen as adding value to Core and DPS Account teams. Has organization skills to align with many stakeholders. Analytical skills to use data to track and report activities and results within the EMC channel
  • Strong communications skills. Fluency in English is a prerequisite
