Every day, we go beyond what's expected and reach for the remarkable, together. **YOUR ROLE** Scope & Complexity - This position supports revenue analysis activities for Alaska Air Group (AAG) and its subsidiaries. Key Duties - Serves as one of Revenue Management's (RM's) point people from whom major analytical projects are produced and shared with all levels of the company, including senior management. - Partners with other departments to provide data and/or analytical support to measure the success of initiatives. - Thoroughly dissects monthly financial performance to understand year-over-year revenue variance and trends. - Assists in the creation of monthly and annual revenue forecasts. - Provides technical and analytical support for all of RM, including assistance with the measurement and analysis of various tests and initiatives. - Works in conjunction with IT and other RM business owners to augment existing tools and reports, as well as develop new tools to support the department's needs. - Performs analysis of codeshare results and coordinates with partners. - Produces and monitors scheduled reports to identify areas of opportunity or items requiring further analysis. - Participates in cross-divisional projects where relevant. - Performs other duties as assigned. Job-Specific Skills Required - A minimum of 2 years of experience in an analytical function within the airline industry or equivalent technical experience. - Proven experience with database querying tools (e.g., Excel, Access, Business Objects, MicroStrategy or Brio). - Proven knowledge and familiarity with complex databases. - Detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills and proven problem solving abilities. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills (e.g., verbal, written, and listening). - Ability to manage multiple projects independently and to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment. - Minimum age of 18. - Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Preferred - Experience managing complex databases or building financial models.
