This job is a member of the Information Technology Team, within the Information Technology Division that makes significant contributions to the customer fullfillment process. The Programmer-Analyst/Sr. Programmer-Analysts role works closely with other team members to deliver superior software solutions to support key business. Programmer-Analyst/Sr. Programmer-Analyst participate in all aspects of application development including design, development and delivery using an Agile process.
Specifically, you’ll do the following:
- Plan, develop, test, and document computer programs, applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems
- Evaluate user request for new or modified program to determine feasibility, compatibility with current system, and computer capabilities
- Formulate plan outlining steps required to develop program using structured analysis and design
- Convert project specifications into sequence of detailed instructions and logical steps for coding into language for processing by computer, applying knowledge of computer programming techniques and computer languages
- Review, replace, delete, or modify codes to correct errors
- Analyze, review, and alter program to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements
- Keep up-to-date with IT trends; work with architecture teams to establish new design patterns relevant to solving business needs
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
- Experience with Java, Kotlin, Objective-C, Swift, C#, or C/C++ Programming and debugging skill
- Demonstrates great communication skills and initiative to solve problems and convey solutions to peers and product owners
- Knowledge of multi-threading concepts, TCP/IP, database, and REST based JSON APIs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in commercial software
- History of deploying applications in cloud environment
- Knowledge of unit testing and continuous integration
