About The Job

This job is a member of the Flight Training Team within the Integrated Operations Division. This position will be responsible for the planning, scheduling and administration of Ground School and Simulator Training for all line, Supervisory and Management pilots, in addition to all currency requirements in compliance with Company and Federal Regulations. The position is also responsible for the planning and scheduling of all available training facilities to accomplish such training in the most productive and cost effective way.

 

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

  • ​Leads daily operation of pilot qualifications
  • Monitors and fully administers currency for line pilots
  • Monitors and fully administers Check Airmen schedules on a daily basis, ensuring adequate coverage
  • Coordinates FAA involvement in required simulator training periods
  • Coordinates with Crew Schedule to provide Check Airmen as required
  • Updates Check Airman and pilot–in-training data and schedules in a variety of applications, databases and FOS
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule; weekends and Holidays included
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • ​​​​​High School diploma or GED equivalency
  • ​Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access
  • Knowledge of FOS/CREWS
  • Ability to be detail oriented; able to effectively manage shifting priorities
  • Ability to be reliable and dependable
  • Ability to accept ownership, responsible and accountable for all functional obligations needing little or no supervision

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • ​​​Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience/training
  • 1 year Flight Training Scheduling experience
