Every day, we go beyond what's expected and reach for the remarkable, together. **YOUR ROLE** Role Summary: The Inflight Safety and Compliance Specialist is responsible for maintenance of training records, Safety Management System (SMS) assessments, and maintaining the teams Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) guide. This individual contributor role provides support for all Inflight Safety and Compliance programs. Scope & Complexity: This position supports safety and compliance activities for the Inflight division of Alaska Airlines (AS). Key Duties: ? Inputs flight attendant training records, maintains multiple databases and creates/generates reports. ? Creates, audits and distributes Learning Management System (LMS) training reports ? Creates Jeppesen Crew Tracking Enterprise (JCTE) reports for Labor Relations Team ? Coordinates process of Requalification Checkride program with Training Delivery and Base Leadership. ? Coordinates student attendance rosters for all Flight Attendant training and monitors exam failure and retake schedules. ? Coordinates with appropriate teams to support the Return to Work process flow for flight attendants by reporting on and ensuring completion of all training requirements for qualification. ? Supplies training completion data for Flight Attendant compensation to Pay Analysts. ? Makes recommendations for process and/or procedure improvement. Updates department SOP guide content based on all approved changes and additions. ? Facilitates Safety Risk Assessments and participates in the Safety Risk Management Task Force as part of the Safety Management System (SMS). ? Manages the FAA Certificate of Demonstrated Proficiency process ? Generates Cabin Seat Agreements with other airlines (OAL). ? Manages Administers the Known Crew Member (KCM) issuance program and A4A Quarterly usage report. ? Maintains and updates the Inflight Jumpseat Access Control program (JACS) process. ? Monitors Status Reports to update JACS when terminations occur, update New Hire access and manage medical leaves ? Maintain Flight Attendant Qualified Management training records including scheduling, tracking and updating records and maintaining Management training record files. ? Inputs reports, conducts analysis, identifies trends, and coordinates after-action activities for Flight Attendant Irregularity Report (FAIR) program as needed. Job-Specific Skills, Experience and Education Required: ? 2 years of customer service experience. ? Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). ? Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ? Ability to work independently and to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. ? High school diploma or equivalent. ? Must be authorized to work in the U.S. ? Minimum age of 18. Preferred: ? Knowledge of Safety Management Systems. ? 2 years of knowledge of Alaska Airlines Inflight Policy and Procedures or other company operating division policy processes. ?
