The Service Manager will be responsible for business development, sales, execute and deliver fire fighting and fire alarm maintenance from inception to completion, within time, to the required quality and within the budget to the satisfaction of the client.
Sales and marketing activities:
• Developing growth strategies and plans, pursue leads and follow through to a successful agreement.
• Increasing client base.
Client co-ordination:
• Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients and identify new prospects.
• Attending the technical/progress meetings.
Project Execution:
• Handling the daily activities of sites.
• Monitor the progress of the sites activities closely.
• Collect client’s approval for the executed works.
• To practice the maintenance for the related assets to ensure that the quality of the fault free systems has achieved the quality standards defined by the contract and standards.
Project handing over & authorities approvals:
• Preparation of handing over documents.
• Attending the authorities inspections.
• Collection of the client taking over final certificate.
Project Delivery Cost:
• To furnish the maintenance services for the assets ensure that the costs of the project are maintained within the described limits of the project viability.
The Service Manager will report to the Division Head, however, channels exists for direct communication with the Managing Director and other member from the senior leadership team at weekly meetings or as and when required.
To be a successful in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree specialised in mechanical or electrical engineering. Masters in Business Administration is a plus. Minimum of 10+ years relevant experience. Dubai Civil Defense approval is a mandate.
The Service Manager will have to demonstrate excellent leadership qualities, be customer focused and be able to handle multiple and often conflicting priorities. It is essential the incumbent should have excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style. Excels at operating in a fast pace, community environment. Have the ability to look at situations from several points of view. Delegate responsibilities effectively. Excellent problem analytical skills and problem simulation. Should have a high comfort level working in a diverse environment. Open to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done. Manage cross-functional relationships effectively. Strong verbal and writing skills, with regards to contractual communication. People management skills & problem solving skills. Excellent managerial & administrative skills however at the same time hands on with day to day business operations. Detail oriented and good reporting skills. Establish clear lines of communication both internally & externally. Strong commercial expertise in driving business results.
