About the Role:

 

As part of the Fashion team based in Dubai, you will be primarily responsible for management of Fashion Logistics in the whole MENA region.   You will oversee the entire Omni Channel supply chain (from origin to store, including store returns) to work within budget and meet business and service level objectives both locally and internationally. 

 

The Job holder will be required to:

 

  • Control supply chain costs; reduce in lead time to stores, manage obsolescent stock, increase stock turns/product sell through and ensure maximum on shelf availability;
  • Develop clear logistics best practices and processes, and ensure these are communicated, and implemented across the MENA region in line with local requirements in each country;
  • Ensure that volume plans and forecasts are submitted to the 3PL and are accurate;
  • Focus on developing continuous improvement strategies, including quantitative analysis and evaluation of the supply chain and processes, to identify weak spots and develop optimisation scenarios.
  • Manage, maintain and develop relationships with suppliers, government agencies/representatives and vendors (including principals) and their suppliers or third party companies to ensure the on time and smooth movement of product both internationally and locally in accordance with contractual obligations and agreed SLAs
  • Liaise with Agents which facilitate Approved Lab Testing processes (SASO) and expedited Clearance time lines.
  • Build strong relationships with all key stakeholders (e.g. suppliers, Logistics Service Providers, Brand Logistics, Buying, Finance, and Store Operations Managers) to effectively enable critical decision making that will impact stock availability, frieght warehouse and distribution costs.

 

About You

 

To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years of Omni Channel Supply Chain & Logistics management experience, Fashion Retail preferred in an enterprise noted for using 'best practice' supply chain processes. You will hold a Master’s Degree or equivalent (qualifications in SCM/Logistics/Retail operations MBA, preferably in Logistics operations or International Business. You will have MENA logistics and custom clearance experience, local and global experience of 3PL and or freight forwarding, be analytical with high attention to detail and knowledge of warehouse, distribution, customs & cross border, knows negotiations and change management,  able to document contracts, SOP’s SLA and process flows, competent in using MS Office tools and advanced SAP user or similar tool. 

 

You should be happy to travel across MENA and abroad.
