Job Description:

– Development:

• Achieve the agreed Objectives in light of the Business Intelligence strategy
• Act as SPOC with Account Management teams for the new projects
• Manage the projects internally within Business Intelligence team to achieve the business requirements within the agreed timelines with high quality
• Responsible for the design, development and on-going support of reporting & analytical solutions and descriptive models for the business community within the reporting environment
• Use range of technologies to make data easy accessible to business users through building Self-BI environment and Dashboards
• Maintain and distribute business report library and reports metadata
• Performthe business analysis anddocument the specification of business information requests
• Work closely with modelling and Data Management team members forbuilding the new models that serves the business requests

  •Design and Apply data validation strategies; report design and development; security development; end user training; software deployment; and all other facets of a complete system development life cycle

  •Participate effectively in setting the data governance and reporting strategies that reduce data redundancy wherever possible

  •Work with a team of developers through architecture, design, build, test, and enhancement of corporate business intelligence solutions

  •Design, Code, test and document appropriate data processes, stored procedures or reporting & analytic applications using industry proven‘best-practices’

  •Develop outline design and reports; Create necessary objects to meet report requirements

  •Develop and execute unit, system integration, and useracceptance test plans and plays an active role in project rollouts

  •Investigate and assist in the resolution of any day-to-dayapplication issues

  •Comply with new company Governance, Business Intelligence Standards, Data Standards and Data Warehouse Methods and Procedures in the delivery

  •Identify opportunities for sharing and re-using information through the team knowledge base

  •Act promptly on the reporting issues that is assigned to the secondlevel of support team

  •Recommend approaches, lead design and create solid technical solutions for complex business scenarios

– Testing:

• Responsible for initially identifying the required tests, monitoring thetest coverage and evaluating the overall quality experienced when testing the Target Test Items

  •Specify the required Test Data and evaluatethe outcome of the testing conducted in each test cycle

  •Combine unit test components by developers to produce a build

  •Responsible for defining the test approach and ensuring itssuccessful implementation

  •Identify the appropriate techniques, tools and guidelines to implement the required tests, and to give guidance on the correspondingresources requirements for the test effort

• Responsible for the core activities of the test effort, which involves conducting the necessary tests and logging the outcomes of that testing

– Researching:

• Research, evaluate and recommend different tool sets, applications and emerging technologies

  •Develop technical and user documentation

  •Produce end-user support material such as user guides, help texts, release notes, and so on

  •Develop training material to teach users how to use the product. This includes creating slides, student notes, examples, and tutorials, and so on to enhance users’ understanding of the product

– Reporting:

• Reporting and on time escalation of production problems
