As a Program Manager, Talent Planning and Delivery, you will deliver high priority strategic projects and drive cross-functional initiatives for the Talent organization. You will lead projects to improve operational efficiency and guide change management across the Talent team (and beyond). You will report to the Manager of Business Process & Analytics and be part of a small entrepreneurial team leading programs across strategy, planning, and special program implementation for the People Organization as well as all back-end system changes to our applications and interfaces involved in the SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing, Recruiting and Onboarding Products.
- Manage the ongoing operational delivery of Talent Acquisition and Talent Management initiatives and programs, setting objectives and timelines, tracking owners and milestones, and assessing progress and blockers
- Align the Talent Team to top organizational priorities and manage the Talent Team roadmap and calendar to ensure we’re resourced to accomplish those priorities
- Leads projects by facilitating communication, coordination, planning and execution across the Talent teams and partners
- Uses data to help inform, support, and guide strategic decisions
- Works closely with the analytics team to understand business return. Maintains programs; sets and continually manage KPI Dashboards across Talent Teams.
- Project manages the transition and intake of work from the Talent Acquisition and Business Process & Analytics teams to the Agile Persistent Team
- Promotes a collaborative working environment among the business and technology teams by applying Agile principles to achieve quality deliverables that drive business value in a timely manner.
- Manages scaled agile process including organization and facilitation of quarterly planning, discovery sessions, program and team retrospectives, and daily-standups.
- Tracks, updates, and communicates project status in a proactive manner as it relates to project progress, resource utilization, change requests, issues, risks, and risk mitigation plans
- Partners with Product Owner to manage team capacity and velocity
- Partners with Product Owner and Product Manager to forecast and create release based project schedules and MVP driven deployment timelines
- Monitors progress and provides accurate, succinct and timely reports to leadership and impacted teams
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Technology, Information Systems (MIS), or equivalent experience/training
- 3 years of project and/or product management experience
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Master’s degree in business administration, management information systems, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in project and/or product management
- Experience coordinating large program or product efforts across multiple teams, responsible for different deliverables towards a singular objective
- Experience working with standard project and program management tools and systems; Rally is a plus
- Background in recruiting and/or HR operations is a plus
- Scaled Agile implementation
- SAP SuccessFactors product experience
Skills, Licenses & Certification
- Extremely detail-oriented and organized
- Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize activities to meet the program or product needs
- Ability to scope projects, define goals and create deliverables. Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications or change management plan.
- Excellent background in foundational concepts of Agile methodologies
- Business sense, project management and analytical experience
- Recent experience in creating agile development strategy, release plans and system impacts for large volume applications
- Ability to effectively lead teams on project deliveries and mentorship
- Ability to capture and track tasks to ensure team completion
- Ability to work well within a team environment, as well as independently
- Ability to influence through outstanding interpersonal skills, collaboration, and negotiation skills
- Ability to communicate complex concepts succinctly and clearly for audiences of all levels across verbal, written and visual mediums.
