About the Role
The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting the Digital Marketing Manager with the day to day activities required in order to drive revenue growth coming from paid channels. The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for the flawless delivery of paid activities through PPC, Paid Social & Display and will assist in the planning, execution and optimization of our online marketing efforts. Aside from working to drive & implement best performance marketing techniques to drive traffic and revenue ; they will be required to work closely with other members of the digital marketing team to ensure an integrated approach.
- Key Responsibilities include planning, executing, optimizing and reporting on best-in-class performance marketing campaigns through available marketing platforms (PPC, Paid Social , Display, SEO, Affiliates)
- Optimize campaigns and drive efficiency of ad spend by understanding different metrics and brand objectives
- Develop Paid Search & Paid Social Advertising strategies for different Al Futtaim retail brands and markets ensuring campaigns are optimized and delivering against revenue and performance metrics.
- Oversee the reporting and analysis offering to deliver better ROI
- Work on insights generation, campaign set-up, day to day management, optimization and automation processes of all brands and channels
- Develop, conduct and evaluate A/B tests for creative marketing ideas. Create traffic driving (high relevancy) ads (managing both copy writing and visuals), and execute continuous improvement initiatives
- Have the ability to clearly communicate how paid advertising activities drive business needs
- Share frequent updates with the internal team to provide details, campaign insights and optimization recommendations.
About the Requirements
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent certification in Marketing, Retail Management or related field
- Proven track-record in developing and executing campaign on Google and Facebook/IG, implementing and managing projects, tracking and analyzing customer behavior/performance across channels and devices
- Experience in the following channels is a must : Paid Search, Paid Social & Display. SEO, Affiliate & Programmatic experience will be advantageous.
- Experience and Success in driving app projects
- Substantial experience pulling data and generating advanced reports within Google Ads, FMP/Social Ads API, a DSP User Interface, or (ideally) both
- Solid knowledge of web and app analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adjust) creating ads and reporting on paid activities across a variety of platforms; Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager / Facebook Marketing Partner, Twitter Ads and YouTube/AdWords
- Proven experience optimizing paid media activity to deliver against defined performance metrics
Work Experience required
- You should have 4+ years’ experience working in performance marketing role with clear and deep working knowledge of paid search, social and display platforms.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking. Capable of translating your data-driven insights into actionable recommendations.
- English Language Fluency. Arabic Language Preferred
- Knowledge and experience of the retail industry would be an advantage
