Product & Application Specialist (Band F) - FAMCO Volvo Construction Equipment - Al Futtaim - Dubai  

 

 

To manage application & technical in-field support to sales team for new unit sales. In addition, this role will be responsible for timely submission of necessary reports to FAMCO & CE management along with coordination responsibility for all required marketing activities for the division.

 

This new role being added is vital to the growth and long-term stability of our business model in this challenging market conditions. The person will be responsible to handle all application engineering needs to support and enhance new equipment sales as well as conduct necessary technical & operation studies to support existing fleet in the market.

 

This is also aligned with Volvo strategy for a dealership to be setup in order to ensure highest uptime for our machines with maximum customer retention.

 

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
Either a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering with good technical knowledge of Construction Equipment with hands on experience in terms of machine operations & application.

Incumbent needs to have knowledge of electrical, control & instrumentation systems, diesel engines & electrical motors (variable and fixed speed) good diagnostic capability and PC skills.

 

Minimum Experience:
Minimum 5 years experience.

Problem solving, activity planning & organizing, ability to work with teams, high level of communication skills and technical acumen with the ability to learn new products technical changes to specifications & product features, benefits and innovations.

 

Behavioural Competencies:

Ability to communicate easily with internal and external customers, open and honest and takes ownership to solve issues, responsible and has cultural awareness and empathy, should be flexible and demonstrate sound work ethics.
