IT Database Technical Domain Expert at Henkel

Location: Heliopolis

Job Description:

• Support our license management team regarding DB licensing topics
• Handle the Henkel landscape across processes related to portfolio, quality, and cost management for all database topics
• Act as the SPOC (single point of contact) for questions regarding the DB portfolio
• Upgrade paths, develop DB products, and monitor licensing
• Assess the development of the market for DB technologies, address upcoming changes to the community, and ensure on-time upgrade projects
• Evaluate the performance of the vendor, address issues, and support the vendor managers
• Steer all kind of product updates including financial planning

Job Requirements:

         Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or any relevant study

  Relevant Experience:
  

• 3-5 years of experience in Database technologies

Technical Knowledge/ Skills/ Training required:

• Fluent English speaker
• Knowledge of MS SQL, Oracle, Postgres, Hyperscaler (MS Azure, AWS) DBs
• Proficient user of MS Office applications
• Strong technical background as well as excellent communication skills
