Location: Heliopolis

Job Description:

Support implementation and configuration of wide area networks including routers, switches, other peripheral devices and proof of concepts of new network technologies
Operate and maintain wide area networks, track problems, monitor performance, and perform upgrades to hardware & software as required
Install or modify existing installations of wide area network
Maintain documentation regarding network implementations, operating procedures, and service records related to network hardware & software

Job Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or any relevant study

Relevant Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience

Technical Knowledge/ Skills/ Training required:

Good command of English is mandatory. Additional languages and knowledge of the German language are preferred
Strong knowledge of WAN, SD WAN and local area network architecture and technologies (Cisco, Riverbed, HP Aruba)
Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP and UDP)
Experience using the CLI of router/switch vendors (Cisco/HP Aruba)
Experience using routing protocols such as BGP or OSPF
Knowledge of Microsoft Visio and Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
