About The Job

Perform aircraft repairs including: map hole coordinates for transfer to new part. Indicate and set up parts for boring.

Threading and boring on a manual lathe. Grind tooling i.e. end mills, drills and HHS lathe tools.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• 2 years manual mill and lathe experience.
• One (1) year experience in an accredited machine shop or a certificate of completion from an accredited vocational machine shop course and must satisfactorily demonstrate qualifications by completing a test
• FAA drug test is required
• Valid driver’s license
• Must have own tools

 

Preferred Qualifications

• A&P license
• Ability to fabricate specialized tooling as required to accomplish job
