The Project Engineer will be responsibl to execute project installation & maintenance works in coordination with the Project Manager / Head of Operations / Maintenance In-charge & Sales Team for the specific requirements of various security and low voltage system projects / maintenance jobs within estimated budget and cost.

• Effective project & maintenance management of the assigned jobs.
• Initiate, plan, monitor, control all assigned tasks and escalate issue as and when required.
• Technical study and technical verification of the projects / jobs before execution. 
• Site coordination with the client, sub-contractor, Police, GHQ, DPS, GRA inspectors and other official authorities / consultant and contractors.
• Prepare necessary documents for approvals before and after execution of the project.
• Coordinate with the client, Police, Consultant etc. for the necessary approvals that required for the client’s trade license issuing or renewal. 
• Attend various inspection at site in coordination with the Police & other consultants, prepare the site for the same and passing the inspections.
• Attend site surveys along with sales team and suggest the best solution and requirements.
• Plan and schedule the project execution. Completion of the projects within expected stipulated time frame. Hand over the project and collect the hand over certificate without snags and comments.
• Attend breakdown and do the needful rectification or suggestions. Provide maintenance, emergency services and technical support. 
• Project hand over with all required and relevant documentation like O&M manuals, shop drawings, zone charts, other certificates. 
• Prepare and attend project meetings, communicate well with clients. Build, maintain and enhance business relationships with customers & clients and other parties involved as applicable. 
• Provide user training and support to the end users and the designated clients representatives.

The Project Engineer will report to the Project / Maintenance Lead however, channels exists for direct communication with the Project Manager and other member from the senior leadership team at weekly meetings or as and when required. 

To be a successful in this role, you should have a diploma / bachelor's degree apecialised in Electronics / Electronics & Communication Engineering or a equivalent related qualification. Minimum of 3 years’ relevant security systems project & maintenance experience in the Middle East. Previous experience in handling medium, large to major projects which include CCTV, ACS, ALARM, GRMS & ELV systems. Excellent report writing skills.

The following certifications are an asset -

• DPS Certification in security systems, CCTV, access control, intruder alarm systems.
• GRMS & other ELV systems product certifications etc.
• Milestone and Inncom - Honeywell Certification.
• CCNA and CCNP.
• Project Management (PMP)

Expert level of technical skills & knowledge of - 

• International codes, measurements, standards and regulations in electronics / low voltage electrical engineering.  
• Review technical specification and drawings.
• Field testing procedures and field test equipment.
• Site work HSE / safety procedures.
• MCC / DPS / Sharjah, Ajman Police / RAK GRA security law and regulations.

UAE Driving licence will be an added advantage.

The Project Engineer will have to demonstrate excellent leadership qualities, be customer focused and be able to handle multiple and often conflicting priorities. It is essential the incumbent should have excellent interpersonal skills, communication & influencing at all levels – to be able to coordinate in a multi-disciplinary environment both internal and external and a collaborative management style. Excels at operating in a fast pace, community environment. Ability to motivate and provide technical guidance to technicians and sub-contractors. Ability to sustain positive teamwork environment. Have the ability to look at situations from several points of view. Delegate responsibilities effectively. Should have a high comfort level working in a diverse environment. Open to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done. Manage cross-functional relationships effectively.
