• Lead Fleet Service Agents must perform any or all duties of a typical Fleet Service Agent; however they are additionally responsible to perform "front line supervision" of other agents.

 

• The terms and conditions of this position are covered by the International Association of Machinists (IAM) Collective Bargaining Agreement.  The hourly rate of pay for this position is $15.68.

What you'll do

As noted above, this list is intended to reflect the current job but there may be additional essential functions (and certainly non-essential job functions) that are not referenced.  Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations.

• Responsibilities include loading and unloading baggage, cargo and mail; driving and operating ground equipment; marshalling aircraft to and from gates.
• Perform frequent repetitive motions and tasks, to include twisting and bending at the waist and knees and sustaining those positions for extended periods of time.
• Carry a 70 pound suitcase in front of you, with one or both hands for 25 feet.
• Lift 70 pounds repetitively from the floor to 54 inches.
• Push/pull/move luggage carts (200 lbs).
• Able to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions and around excessive loud noises.
• Sufficient vision and ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position.
• Sufficient hearing and speech to effectively communicate via headset and mouthpiece.

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• At least 18 years of age

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Valid U.S. Driver's license and good driving record

• Availability to work assigned seniority-based schedule which will include varied hours, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to read, write, and speak English

• Effective communication skills and attention to detail

• Ability to learn and understand job-related policies and procedures

• Ability to cope with stressful situations

• Ability to multi-task

• Ability to effectively communicate in a team environment at all times

• Must be people-oriented, highly motivated with a positive and cooperative attitude
