Job Description:

Build an automation process, and continuous integration testing and continuous deployment.
Building, deploying and supporting our enterprise application services and systems across various machine infrastructures.
Work with Development team
Testing, deploying, tuning, and troubleshooting various systems.
Strong System administration background, viz Linux, Unix.
Work with Development Teams, peers and PM to understand and deliver requirements
Analyze requirements to find the most appropriate technical solutions
Consult and assist in infrastructure overviews, cost estimations
Use DevOps approach to collaborate with developers, build and operate critical, highly loaded systems
Develop and apply CI/CD approach and tools.
Write infrastructure code and automation.
Main technologies used will be Hadoop ecosystem, Cloudera, Hortonworks and other vendors, Grid Computing Technologies, etc.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities associated with the position.

Job Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology from a recognized university.
Relevant Experience:
3–5 years of experience as a DevOps Specialist

Technical Knowledge/ Skills/ Training required:

Experience in Redshift, RDS, Jenkins, GitHub, Scripting Languages, CI/CD, Selenium, TestNG, Ansible, Mysql, MongoDB
4+ years of Release/Deployment/Application Engineering Experience
Strong experience with Cloud technologies (AWS)
Exposure to Big Data systems – Hadoop ecosystem, Cassandra, Spark
Exposure to Agile and DevOps process and approaches
Experience in using auto configuration systems (Puppet, Chef, Ansible, etc.)
Experience in server side and distributed software
Exposure to Agile and ITIL process and approaches
Linux scripting
3rd line support of a large critical system
