The BMS Technician will be responsible to commission building management control systems as part of customer orders incorporating the supply, design, installation and commissioning of building management control systems.

• Responsible for all commissioning activities on commercial BMS projects including system start-up and programming, trouble shooting and client handover. 
• Fault finding on company BMS and control system products.
• Monitor BMS for changes outside of normal operating parameters and report these to the relevant person/organization.
• Write and commission software and graphics when required to meet job specifications.
• Handle the coordination for all orders & deliveries upon LM guidelines.
• Pre commission control panels.
• Commission and demonstrate control systems and field controls.

The BMS Technician will report to the Project Manager however, channels exists for direct communication with the other member from the senior leadership team at weekly meetings or as and when required. 

To be a successful in this role, you should have a diploma / bachelor's degree apecialised in Electrical / Electronics or a equivalent related qualification. Minimum of 5 years’ relevant GCC experience in BMS wiring, testing, and commissioning of HVAC controls and any DDC/PLC Controls. Previous experience in third party system integration (ModBus/LON/BacNet/EIB) to the BMS, fault diagnosis and trouble shooting is a mandate. Previous experience in handling medium, large to major projects which include BMS systems. Excellent report writing skills. UAE Driving licence will be an added advantage.

The BMS Technician will have to demonstrate excellent leadership qualities, be customer focused and be able to handle multiple and often conflicting priorities. It is essential the incumbent should have excellent interpersonal skills, communication & influencing at all levels – to be able to coordinate in a multi-disciplinary environment both internal and external and a collaborative management style. Excels at operating in a fast pace, community environment. Ability to motivate and provide technical guidance to technicians and sub-contractors. Ability to sustain positive teamwork environment. Have the ability to look at situations from several points of view. Delegate responsibilities effectively. Should have a high comfort level working in a diverse environment. Open to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done. Manage cross-functional relationships effectively.
