The Elevator Technician will be responsible for preventive maintenance of elevators & escalators as per company / manufacturer’s standards. 

Maintenance

• Planned preventive maintenance of elevators & escalator as per manufacturers / company standards within the assigned time frame.
• Troubleshooting.

Follow HSE Standards

• Adhere to & ensure compliance with company HSE policy
• Prevent un-safe activity by team members.

The Elevator Technician will report to the Service Manager - Elevators however, channels exists for direct communication with other members from the senior leadership team at weekly meetings or as and when required. 

To be a successful in this role, you should have a diploma / technical certification specialised in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics & Communication or a equivalent related qualification. Minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience working a similar capacity responsbile for installation, maintenance & commissioning within the elevator industry. Experience in GCC countries is added advantage.

The ideal candidtae should have strong skills & previous experience to handle tools & electrical meters. Sound knowledge of the international standards of equipment’s. Good knowledge in MS Office. Experience in SAP is added advantage. 

The Elevator Technician will have to demonstrate excellent leadership qualities, be customer focused and be able to handle multiple and often conflicting priorities. It is essential the incumbent should have excellent interpersonal skills, communication & influencing at all levels – to be able to coordinate in a multi-disciplinary environment both internal and external and a collaborative management style. Excels at operating in a fast pace, community environment. Ability to motivate and provide technical guidance to technicians and sub-contractors. Ability to sustain positive teamwork environment. Have the ability to look at situations from several points of view. Delegate responsibilities effectively. Should have a high comfort level working in a diverse environment. Open to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done. Manage cross-functional relationships effectively.
