Planning Manager Brand & Marketing - Toyota Al Futtaim - Dubai 
Reports to:    Head of Marcomms and PR
Direct Reports:    2
Department:    Marketing

 

Reporting into the Head of Marcoms, the new Marketing Planner will be responsible for developing and monitoring the overall marketing calendar and allocated budgets, to meet the agreed KPIs for sales and aftersales on various channels (retail, SME, TPO) for Al-Futtaim Toyota in the UAE.

 

The key responsibilities of this role will include, but are not limited to:
1.    Analyzing the overall marketing plans in line with the annual budget and marketing strategy; 
2.    Monitoring and finalizing financial reports, including annual budget plan, quarterly (3+9, 6+6, 9+3) monthly forecasts, etc. 
3.    Analyzing and proposing necessary adjustments to marketing plans based on actual results and KPIs (ex. Enquiries, Showroom visits, test drives, conversion, etc.) 
4.    Constantly assessing marketing performance to maximize results, to meet revenue goals and increase ROI.
5.    Setting up and improving SOPs to improve efficiency with media planning, production and execution. 
6.    Tracking marketing campaigns and measuring success by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data from internal dashboards – and checking actual vs. forecasted results. 
7.    Setting up financial planning for marketing budgets, by adjusting ratios based on needs (ex. Online vs. Offline, Retail vs. Corporate, Events vs. Communications, Production vs. Media, PC vs. SUV, etc.). 
8.    Coordinating and sending marketing support requests to TMC, and accounting for the receipt and allocation of such support received.    

 

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
    Bachelor's degree in finance or business administration
    Marketing background is mandatory (Client or advertising agency experience). 
    Experience in media spend and budget management 
    Good written, verbal, organizational, and follow-up skills
    Strong drive for results, commitment to quality and attention to detail
    Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment.
    Ability to analyse information and arrive at informed decision.
    Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

    Minimum Experience:
    Minimum 4 years’ work experience in a similar role, not necessarily in the automotive industry
