JOB PURPOSE:

 

The Search Specialist (SEO/SEM) is responsible for supporting the Digital Marketing Manager with the day to day activities required in order to drive revenue growth coming from paid & Organic channels. The Search Specialist is responsible for the flawless delivery of PPC and SEO activities and will assist in the planning, execution and optimization of our online marketing efforts. Aside from working to drive & implement best performance marketing techniques to drive traffic and revenue ; they will be required to work closely with other members of the digital marketing team to ensure an integrated approach.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

  • Hands-on search expert responsible for managing, optimizing and scaling SEO and SEM tactics, aimed at driving new customers to our websites and maximizing ROAS
  • Lead SEO growth strategy opportunities via content gap analysis, keyword opportunities, industry trends, competitive audits and technical site audits.
  • Lead technical SEO recommendations and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure delivery.
  • Be the search champion at AL Futtaim and unlock new avenues for gowth
  • Collaborate with our broader marketing and brand teams before and after campaign planning to optimize search performance, test ad copy, manage keywords and improve our quality score
  • Coordinate with marketing and website development on teams new brand launches to ensure proper infrastructure is set up from SEO perspective
  • Optimize SEM campaigns and drive efficiency of ad spend by understanding different metrics and brand objectives
  • Oversee the reporting and analysis offering to deliver better ROI
  • Work on insights generation, campaign set-up, day to day management, optimization and automation processes of all brands and channels
  • Develop, conduct and evaluate A/B tests for creative marketing ideas. Create traffic driving (high relevancy) ads (managing both copy writing and visuals), and execute continuous improvement initiatives
  • Have the ability to clearly communicate how SEM and SEO activities drive business needs
  • Share frequent updates with the internal team to provide details, campaign insights and optimization recommendations

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

 

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent certification in Marketing, Retail Management or related field
  • Proven track-record in developing and executing campaign on Adwords
  • Experience in the following channels is a must : Paid Search (SEM) and SEO. Paid Social and Programmatic experience will be advantageous.
  • You know the ins and outs of global search engines like the back of your hand
  • Experience and Success in driving app projects
  • Solid knowledge of SEO tools (Search console, SEM rush, Ahrefs, Screamingfrog) as well as web and app analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adjust)
  • Proven experience optimizing paid search media activity to deliver against defined performance metrics.
  • Demonstrable experience in managining SEO projects that had a significant impact on the business.

 Work Experience required

  • You should have 4+ years’ experience working with SEO & SEM in an in-house function or via an agency.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills with the ability to balance rigorous attention to details with swift execution
  • English Language Fluency. Arabic Language Preferred
  • Knowledge and experience of the retail industry would be an advantage
