- The role is a part of the Information Technology team within the Information Technology Division.
- As a member of the IT Enterprise Technology team, the IT Asset Management Analyst will assist with the definition and delivery of IT Asset Management solutions within AA. The specific job requirements will focus on hardware asset management, including analysis of discovered assets, reconciliation of inventories across multiple data sources, and working with application and infrastructure stakeholders to identify and validate application dependencies. The optimal candidate will have knowledge and experience across the full asset management lifecycle, from procurement, receipt, and deployment, throughout an asset’s useful life, and to final disposition.

- Serves as a subject matter expert of IT Asset Management at AA
- Works with the Asset product owner to define Asset Management priorities, policies, and procedures
- Assists in the development, testing, and maintenance of IT Asset Management discovery and lifecycle tools
- Collaborates with project managers, engineers, architects, administrators, and customers to deliver projects under agile framework
- Performs standard and ad hoc analyses to report Asset data to management and customers
- Responsible for ongoing data integrity of asset repositories; drives resolution of discovered anomalies
- Identify and follow processes to identify and reconcile data deficiencies detected by audits and customers
- Works with key stakeholders and automated solutions to identify and validate application dependencies
- Reports key KPIs and other metrics as required
- Initiates, communicates, and promotes ideas for continuous improvement
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
- 3 years of progressive broad-based information systems and business experience
- 3 years of experience with IT Asset Management discovery and/or lifecycle applications, such as Tanium Discover, ServiceNow, HP Asset Manager, BMC/Remedy Asset Management
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- 5+ years of progressive broad-based information systems and business experience
- 5+ years of experience with IT Asset Management
- 2+ years of experience with Agile and DevOps practices and principles
- Airline industry experience, including business processes and supporting technology
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure and business processes, as well as knowledge of business unit functions and cross-group relationships
- Strong understanding of business needs in a shared service or outsourced environment
- Proven ability to build, cultivate, and promote strong relationships with internal customers at all levels of the organization, as well as with IT counterparts, business partners, and external groups
- Proven ability to analyze data from multiple data sources and formulate logical conclusions and recommendations
- Ability to work independently and manage one’s time to meet commitments and expectations
- Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills required
