Software Development Team Leader And Scrum Master Services at Valeo

Job Description:
- Coach, lead and manage a team of 5 to 10 software developers with varying experience levels with the leadership in recruiting.
- Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort.
- Provide metrics and regular status updates to project stakeholders
- Execute on Scrum Master Responsibilities that include prioritizing and facilitating daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum-related meetings. Responsible for the administrative, coaching and leadership roles that make Scrum development/delivery possible.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and technical leaders to help translate business needs into technical requirements and actions.
- Ability to plan, assign, and supervise the work of others.
- Ability to work effectively with others and obtain and sustain the cooperation of others
Job Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor or Masters degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical, the candidate will be required to have the following competencies :
- Strong knowledge of Agile and DevOps approaches.
- Knowledges in Web technologies and languages such as Javascript, PHP, SQL
Relevant Experience:
The candidates should have from +5 years of experience in a supervisory role for technical team members. This position also relies on previous technical experience in programming (7+ years) with most of these qualities:
- Demonstrated success delivering software projects using Agile / Scrum methodologies with a DevOps context in Cloud environment.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in an engineering environment in driving operational excellence and best practices
- Experience communicating with other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, and produce technical designs
- Must possess leadership skills and experience
- Background should include a technology skill set with a strong understanding of basic concepts such as testing, development and large-scale project management;
- Knowledgeable on modern concepts of software development and architectures (SoC, SaaS/PaaS/IaaS, SOA, Mobile-first, Digital)
- Knowledge of Cyber Security policies and procedures including static code analysis, dependency analysis and penetration testing.
- Result orientation, with desire to improve our customer’s experience
- Sense of business with a strong sensibility to time to market
