Job Description:

  • Develop marketing strategies and plans needed to achieve Mobile Money service commercial KPI’s such as Orange Money customer base, Orange Money active base and other Orange Money service revenues
  • Build Orange Money budget exercise considering Orange strategic directions, regulations and anticipated competition moves.
  • Manage all Orange Money marketing activities to ensure achieving Orange Money commercial targets by setting short term and long term goals and cascade these goals to the team.
  • Define the acquisition strategy and the value behind each offer used by frontliners from other teams.
  • Manage the implementation of Orange Money communication and promotion plans.
  • Manage and lead cross-functional activities to achieve the pre-set Mobile Money strategies and plans on time.
  • Responsible for defining and designing the detailed product specifications (service descriptions) of new market offers & promotions with related product features, functionalities, customer experience, and associated financial reports.
  • Design, deliver and implement marketing plans in order to increase Orange Money service usage.
  • Develop and implement Mobile Money service interoperability along with other operators and banks.
  • Work closely with the banking sector to maintain and enhance Mobile Money services.
  • Deliver market-leading Orange Money active customer base and achieve the budgeted revenues.
  • Collaborate with all related teams within and outside Orange to authenticate the overall customer experience end to end before launching any Mobile Money service.
  • Develop and produce regular analytical reports and dashboards to ensure proper follow up of all the animation programs and marketing activities.
  • Manage the “go -to- market” process and overall customer experience to ensure best customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and analyze market norms, trends and changes related to consumer behavior and competition as well as competition progress and follow up competition organizational KPI.
  • Work closely with advertising agency towards developing integrated communication marketing plan that impact Mobile Money services positively.
  • Align with Orange Group when it comes to launching any new Mobile Money service.
  • Empower frontliners from other teams to effectively respond to frequent customer needs during service activation and service usage.
  • Disseminate customer experience culture within different teams by providing a customer focused input in all projects impacting Mobile Money service.
  • Ensure accurate implementation of duties and tasks according to the company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct the annual performance appraisals with clear explanation and fair implementation to ensure fairness and consistency among different members.
  • Provide on-the-job training and monitor team development and take corrective actions if necessary.
  • Hold regular meetings with the team members to strengthen communication and ensure sharing the same vision.
  • Cooperate with the finance team to set the commercial business model for the existing and new bank partnerships.
  • Coach and supervise the Solutions and PM and TPM team members and influence them to take positive actions for their assigned work.
  • Responsible for developing optimum solutions for short and long term offers & promotions that positively affect towards the increase of acquisition, revenue and market share of services, with the least possible development time & cost.
  • Build the knowledge base required to create a central point for queries on creation of new concepts for services across consumer market segments.
  • Maintain close liaison and attend steering committees with the Technology and Commercial departments to ensure that all Marketing requirements are met during each phase of the development process.
  • Responsible for approving and validating the final specifications, functionality, features and service acceptance tests throughout the implementation phase of product development.
  • Manage key strategic Mobile Money projects Transportation, E-Commerce International Money Remittence, Governmental Partnership.
  • Lead and coach team members responsible for developing and implementing and measuring Orange Money marketing activities.
  • Provide periodic visibility into the consumer marketing project portfolio progress through steerings and ensure management allignment on red lights and issues.
  • Manage & set the Customer Base retention Program for the financial sector including the Loyalty or Attack / saved program.
  • Manage E-Commerce Strategy for Mobile Money that will enhance & optimize the company revenues.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree from a recognized university in one of the following fields: Business Marketing, Economics
  • 5-10 years experience in marketing
  • 5 years experience in the telecommunication sector.
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking.
  • Post graduate studies are highly recommended.
