Mobility Assignment Services Regional Lead at EY – UAE

Job Description:

  • Work independently to manage the administration of international mobility assignments, raising issues for resolution where required
  • Oversee and manage the delivery of Mobility Assignment Services in the Region/Country, ensuring the team of Mobility Consultants are delivering to performance standards, and adhering to Global Mobility policy frameworks and processes
  • Assign and review work of your Mobility Consultants as appropriate, especially during peak/busy periods
  • Assist in the development of others by providing feedback, recognizing accomplishments and assigning challenging work
  • Work independently to understand the client requirements and to correctly apply the relevant (assignment policies, expatriate cost, etc.) principles to address business needs
  • Review and ensure the quality of work from partners, including third party suppliers (e.g. People Advisory Services (PAS) and others as appropriate)
  • Maintain professional internal and external client relationships at all times

Job Requirements:

  • Education:
  • Educated to degree level is preferred, not required

    Relevant Experience:

  • 5+ years relevant experience

Technical Knowledge/ Skills/ Training required:

  • Significant knowledge and experience of international mobility, policies, processes and systems
  • Strong knowledge of generalist HR – recruitment and selection, career management, performance reviews, termination, remuneration, induction, employee relations etc.
  • Demonstrate a strong customer service mindset. A desire to deliver exceptional service to internal business clients and assignees.
  • Strong understanding of Tax and Immigration legislation, as well as relevant employment law  and other business or economic forces
  • Strong communications skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels in the Service Line leaders, Talent team, Tax and Immigration team, as well as external partners and vendors
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize objectives and work
  • Good computer skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Good intellectual rigor and commercial awareness
  • Able to work effectively in a fast paced, demanding environment
  • Ability to use a Global Mobility Technology tool as well as other relevant HR systems and knowledge tools
  • Maintain and use (when appropriate) a network of contacts in other EY practices/departments
