Assistant Parts Sales Manager

About the Job

This position is based in FAMCO Dubai, reporting to the Parts Operations Manager, UAE. You will be responsible for all the spare parts functions in the location, including retail sales across the counter, part supply to workshop, warehousing and stock control.

JOB ACCOUNTIBILITIES / CONTENTS:

• Supervise the service provided at the parts counter, so that the walk-in customers and workshop technicians are served as per the expected service standards.
• Administer the back orders, so that the customer receives timely information on the status of back-ordered parts and such parts are delivered to the customer on the promised date.
• Monitor responses to telephonic enquiries to ensure that service standards are maintained.
• Oversee cash handling to ensure that there is proper management of cash received from customers.
• Maintain control over obsolescence, such that parts ordered against customers orders don’t remain unsold.
• Monitor parts availability in the warehouse and advise inventory control staff in maintaining adequate stock levels.
• Monitor the sales processes to ensure that document control, invoicing, sales returns, warranties and application of customer discounts are carried out as per the standard operating procedure.

About You

Qualifications: Graduate in any discipline, preferable technical or Mechanical Engineering,

You need to have at least 10 years’ experience in spare parts operations with at least 3 years in supervisory capacity.
