Head of Marketing Strategy- Used Cars

 

Job Description:

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of the Marketing strategy and executing, maintaining and optimising a series digital programmes to maximise engagement, opportunities and loyalty for Automall business.
  • Assist with drive sales & buying to increase volume & budget.
  • The incumbent will be required to establish themselves as a domain expert in the Digital marketing field and would be required to work extremely closely with key agencies / partners and the wider internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Development: Develop the digital marketing strategies, KPIs and objectives and continuously drive digital marketing best practice within the organization.

  • Develop the overall digital marketing strategy & key priorities.
  • Collaborate with the wider team and agency partners to analyse the performance of digital channels and identify areas for optimizations to maximize effectiveness.
  • Work with the wider digital teams to improve the customer journey and improve conversion

 

Social Media Growth & Optimization: Manage the Automall businesses social presence and development with regards to their Social Media Strategy & Roadmap.Print, radio, billboard & other non digital medium management

  • Develop and maintain the Social Media roadmap, by way of content, community management, analytics and reports
  • Drive social media best practices within the organisation
  • Work collaboratively in partnership with the divisional marketing team and appointed  agencies to review and optimise the Social CRM technology and drive adoption.
  • Uphold group policies and standards; ensuring alignment to group strategy
  • Continually optimise Social performance to increase brand awareness, customer engagement. Traffic and leads
  • Develop, manage & budget campaigns
  • Measure result

 

 

Media Strategy & Analysis: Responsible for conceptualizing and managing a diverse range of customer acquisition and retention campaigns. This includes idea generation and exploration, preparing and presenting proposals, overseeing the creative and production processes and championing successful execution.

  • Introduction of third parties with new forms of media to help support all events and the wider marketing objective.
  • Report on performance, traffic and sales generated from media
  • Regular performance meetings with stakeholders to discuss efficiencies across website & advertising optimization
  • Support and execute implementation of SEO strategy and recommendations.
  • Develop and execute A/B, MVT and other tests scenarios to improve user experience and conversions rates.

 

Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Planning and delivering CRM strategies across the business encouraging customer retention and customer loyalty.

  • Support in the development Customer Journey Maps
  • Analyse touch points and maximising commercial opportunities.
  • Identify key funnel drop out points and highlight campaigns to optimise these points.
  • Create nurturing cycles for both sales and aftersales and supporting campaigns / executions to support this.

 

 

Website Optimisation: Implement tests and strategies that focus on increasing conversions and improving user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) across all brands web platforms.

  • Manage the day to day content management of the site to ensure all content is up to date and optimised.
  • Increase engagement across the websites resulting in incremental leads. This includes increasing sessions, page per visit, Time on Site and decreasing bounce rates.
  • Decreasing enquiry form abandonment rates across all key conversion points.
  • Responsible for improving the design, usability, content and conversion points of the Automall website

 

Analytics: Support in the management of all analytic provider relationships and track, tag and measure all campaigns through the various analytics platforms ensuring actionable reports and recommendations are provided and implemented.

Monthly reports on

  • Website Performance
  • Web Lead Performance
  • Seasonality and Trend Analysis
  • Provide Analysis & Reports on Key Competitors Across the Region.
  • To analyse and interpret user journey stats in order to improve the customer experience
  • Utilise Google Analytics to provide regular reports on overall web performance and optimisation recommendations

 

Education, Experience & Skills:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • 3+ years experience as a Marketing Manager.
  • Track record of delivered web development & media optimization projects
  • Experience in managing Social CRM strategies and campaigns
  • Advanced Google 360 experience
  • Experience in developing AB & MVT testing across channels and platforms
  • Delivered proven SEO projects that have delivered incremental ROI.
  • Advanced knowledge of planning, executing and measuring digital media.
  • Degree is an advantage

Minimum Experience:

 

  • Minimum of 5+ years in a Digital Marketing role.

 

Job-Specific Skills:

 

  • Experience in implementing campaigns.
  • Ability to manage marketing budget.
  • Advanced analytical & data interpretation skills.
  • Proven expertise in delivering analysis that yields new insights to increase efficiencies
  • Experience in running various tests and analysis to determine key areas of improvements
  • Experience in increase marketing and media effectiveness that improve ROI
  • Experience in an analytical role with vast quantities of data to drive informed decision making
  • Understanding of the media landscapes (DMP’s, exchanges, programmatic buying, etc)
  • Ability to manage result of campaign
