This job is a member of the Passenger Interline Team within the Revenue Accounting Division. This position will be responsible for leading and mentoring Jr. analysts that support Interline operations and industry initiatives through data gathering and data analysis.  The Sr. Analyst will also support monthly accounting close and account reconciliations.

What you'll do

• Lead and mentor a group of 3-4 team members transitioning from Team Lead to Analyst role
• Support Interline operations through data gathering and analysis, identifying and applying trends, and root cause analysis
• Deliver efficient and accurate reporting of data associated with passenger ticket interline billing and maintain operational statistics and forecasts
• Develop presentations that summarize and communicate analysis results
• Proactively identify, evaluate, and recommend solutions for interline billing issues
• Makes recommendations to management on long-term strategic plans for interline billing
• Perform daily monitoring and regular analysis of Revenue Accounting job processes
• Identify issues, propose solutions and coordinate/contribute to implementation
• Work with leadership and end-users to address data and process concerns
• Support interline initiatives, projects and vendor relationships
• Handle data queries from internal customers

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• High School diploma or GED Equivalency
• 5 years related work experience in an analytical or leadership role
• Experience in finance or accounting-related discipline

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• General knowledge of ticketing and airline revenue accounting processes
• Data mining and analytics experience
• SAP-FI experience

• Ability to lead and mentor
• Ability to logically structure analysis of complex issues and develop solutions to business problems and operational challenges
• Proven track record of demonstrating analytical aptitude
• Ability to manage multiple relationships and projects, prioritizes opportunities, and take initiative towards achieving common goal
• Ability to independently identify issues, analyze data and propose solutions
• Able to present to various levels of management and tailor the presentation to the audience accordingly
• Able to build relationships and interact productively with various departments and all levels of management
