Job Description:

– Client Architectural Leadership
*Identify and consult on major architectural decisions, visions and strategies
*Integrate IBM’s architectural POV, deploy IBM thought leadership

-Client Relationship
*Strategic trusted advisor relationships
*Understand client’s broad technical strategy and challenges
*Frequent Buying Behavior exhibited

– Solutions Technical Thought Leadership
*Ensure IBM recommendations are based on deep understanding of client needs and architectural analysis
*Demonstrate and deliver thorough knowledge of technology components of solutions

-Oversight of Architectural Initiatives
*Guide major architectural initiatives
*Provide IBM leadership in major project or initiative

-Technical Team Leadership
*Represent IBM’s architectural points of view
*Integrate IBM’s technical community for the client, with large network of SMEs
*Represent client’s technology interests within IBM

Job Requirements:

Technical Knowledge/ Skills/ Training required:          

-Strong executive presence
-Understand client’s industry and business objects
-Understand client’s IT strategy and architectural goals
-Employ strategic thinking to lead and direct IBM’s technical engagement strategies to the client’s business priorities and objectives
-Understand IBM’s value, points of view, offerings and capabilities
-Effectively navigate, negotiate and leverage IBM’s broad technical community
-Senior Certified Architects or plan to obtain certification in 18 months
