Job Description:

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify the best solution for Swvl.
Writing extensible and efficient code that spans multiple diffs to address complex projects.
Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications.
Collaborate with colleague engineers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Gather and address technical and design requirements.
Your code handles interactions between multiple systems/components and has extensive test coverage (unit tests & integration tests), monitoring and alerts to ensure reliability.
Owning the end to end delivery of your code from design, code, tests, code style, monitoring/alerting, deployment and roll-out.
Contribute to defining the best practices, including code reviews, unit testing, tooling and business or technical process.
Provide constructive, respectful and actionable feedback when doing in-depth reviews of code and design.
Document your designs, seek feedback and draw consensus around issues raised

Job Requirements:

Education:

BS in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience

Relevant Experience:

Technical Knowledge/ Skills/ Training required:

Deep understanding of software engineering principles.
You are an awesome experienced engineer that is comfortable writing Node.JS, Go or Scala.
Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
