Every day, we go beyond what's expected and reach for the remarkable, together. **YOUR ROLE** Role Summary The Crew Mobile Product Manager II is responsible for supporting agile software delivery activities for Alaska's crew mobile applications as well as providing day to day operational support. As an individual contributor, this role exercises considerable judgment to help define, deliver and provide operational support for mobile solutions to the 10,000+ Alaska crew members. This role will partner with and support the lead product managers for FA and Pilot mobile to help execute on a multi-year roadmap supporting Alaska strategic business goals. Scope & Complexity This individual contributor role is part of a product team responsible for managing development & operational support of crew mobile applications at Alaska. Key Duties Supports the lead product manager(s) with developing user stories granular enough to be achieved in a single sprint, elaboration of Epics and Features, creating and maintaining the product backlog, supporting user and application testing and coordinating release activities - Provides day to day support of the portfolio of crew mobile applications including managing support inquiries, responding to user feedback, creating communications, etc. - Partner with the User Experience teams to provide guidance and prioritization during the product development process and participate in user research and product discovery activities - Assist the product, engineering, and scrum team during regular ceremonies: feature review, grooming, sprint plans and demos by being the voice of the customer and communicating the value behind each product and prioritization decision - Serves as project manager on small to medium initiatives where no project manager is assigned. - Coordinates new and changed functionality with affected business groups to ensure seamless rollout of new capabilities - Interacts with external vendors in design, delivery and support of crew software and hardware products. - Develops and reports on key product development metrics and builds ability to track and measure into offerings. - Performs other duties as assigned. Job-Specific Skills & Education Required - A minimum of 4 years of experience in product management, program management or product ownership - Bachelors degree with a focus in a related discipline, or an additional two years of training/experience in lieu of this degree. - Proficiency with product management methodologies (including user research and product discovery). - Proficiency with software development methodology, including AGILE methods. - Demonstrated knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC). - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with diverse audiences, including both technical and non-technical customers, colleagues, and executives. - Ability to facilitate user group meetings with stakeholders and drive agenda for a common solution. - Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of management cross-divisionally. - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with increased complexity. - Demonstrated ability to manage conflict. - High school diploma or equivalent is required. - Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Preferred - Prior product management experience with a team developing mobile applications for iOS devices - Prior airline industry experience - Experience managing vendor relationships Job-Specific Leadership Expectations Embody our values to own safety, do the right thing, be kind-hearted, deliver performance, and be remarkable. **EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY** Horizon Air and Alaska Airlines are equal opportunity employers.
