Aftermarket Sales Engineer - Power & Industrial Products Division, FAMCO Al Futtaim - Dubai

 

We are looking for a highly motivated, skilled Aftermarket Service Engineer to develop the business for Service, Parts, Service Contracts & other Aftermarket Products for the Power Generators & Industrial business of FAMCO Al Futtaim including competition parts and services to new and existing end users / customers and to increase the connectivity. 

 

This is primarily a sales role with two key elements: 
1) providing the key aftersales linkages between the existing customer base and the infrastructure enabling the sales transactions to occur efficiently 
2) managing and monitoring the direct sales of parts and service to the end user which is part of the P&L responsibility of the division

 

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
Either a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering with good knowledge of the aftermarket (parts & service) within Marine & Generator businesses.
Incumbent needs to have knowledge of electrical, control systems, diesel engines & marine installations and PC skills.
 
Minimum Experience:
Minimum 3 years’ experience.

 

Job-Specific Skills:
Customer handling and relationship building, Hands on experience in handling Service and aftermarket activities for engines / generators or any capital equipment, Ability to create or identify need for aftermarket products & services using scientific tools  / methods as a consultant, Ability to work with teams, high level of communication skills and technical acumen with the ability to learn new products technical changes to specifications & product features, benefits and innovations.

 

Behavioural Competencies :
Ability to communicate easily with internal and external customers, open and honest and takes ownership to solve issues, responsible and has cultural awareness and empathy, should be flexible and demonstrate sound work ethics.
