Job Requirements:

• have Bachelor Degree in Computer Science and/or Engineering orequivalent
• Proven Project Management Capabilities
• Proven experience using reporting tools technology
• Extensive dimensional modelling and report design/definition
• Familiar with all aspects of Self BI, Dashboards, OLAP technology and developing data cubes
• Proven track record in evaluating and applying emerging technologies
• Able to identify appropriate tools and technologies
• Ability to implement proper change control and change management environments
• High Experience with Entity relationship diagrams
• Knowledge of the data warehousing and business intelligence field
• Strong knowledge of Database concepts
• Knowledge of the system or application-under-test
• Diagnostic and problem solving skills
• Programming skills, debugging and diagnostic skills (highly desirable)
• High Knowledge of testing approaches and techniques
• High Knowledge of SDLC and development processes and methodologies with experience of team based development
• Good Experience in technical writing

Job Description:

• Lead a team to achieve the agreed Objectives in light of the Business Intelligence (BI) strategy
• Act as SPOC with Account Management teams for the new projects
• Manage the projects internally within BI team to achieve the business requirements within the agreed timelines with high quality
• Responsible for the design, development and on-going support of reporting & analytical solutions and descriptive models for the business community within the reporting environment
• Use range of technologies to make data easy accessible to business users through building Self-BI environment and Visual Dashboards
• Maintain and distribute business report library and reports metadata
• Perform the business analysis and document the specification of business information requests
• Work closely with modelling and Data Management team members for building the new models that serves the business requests
• Design and Apply data validation strategies; report design and development; security development; end user training; software deployment; and all other facets of a complete system development life cycle
• Participate effectively in setting the data governance and reporting strategies that reduce data redundancy wherever possible
• Provides input to long-range data warehousing plans & designs current ETL systems to be in alignment with those long-range objectives
• Work with a team of developers through architecture, design, build, test, and enhancement of corporate business intelligence solutions
• Design, Code, test and document appropriate data processes, stored procedures or reporting & analytic applications using industry proven ‘best-practices’
• Develop and execute unit, system integration, and user acceptance test plans and plays an active role in project rollouts
• Investigate and assist in the resolution of any day-to-day application issues
• Comply with new company Governance, Business Intelligence Standards, Data Standards and Data Warehouse Methods and Procedures in the delivery
• Provides input to long-range Business Intelligence plans & designs current ETL systems to be in alignment with those long-range objectives
• Work with a team of developers through architecture, design, build, test, and enhancement of corporate business intelligence solutions
• Recommend approaches, lead design and create solid technical solutions for complex business scenarios
