Job Title:                           Landscape Manager

Reports to:                       Senior Facilities Manager

Direct Reports:                Land Scape Engineer, Irrigation Engineer, Landscape Supervisor

Department:                    City Management

Location:                           CFC City Management Office, Cairo, Egypt

 

JOB PURPOSE:

Landscape Manager oversee all the City Land scape of the company or organization in bid to make them operate as efficiently as possible. Landscape and Irrigation coaching and daily in site instruction for Landscape service providers.

In the course of your shift and your entire employment in the company, you will be called upon to "go above and beyond" to make each client's visit a positive experience. Coordinating with the Facility Manager for department strategic planning, being on-call and available during non-working hours, in case of emergencies.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Assist all basic services required during the scheduled shift per the standards or plan
  • Implement water saving instructions to give plants optimum requirements to save water coast and to raise landscape quality
  • Provide support for activities and events taking place in the City
  • Provide for the safety for all operation procedures
  • Following up and manage service providers all work procedures through PMP (Preventative Maintenance Plan)
  • Supervise and/or assist in special projects as requested by the management
  • Assist in updating procedure manuals and resources as changes occur
  • Attend all training sessions and weekly staff meetings
  • Always be willing to assist the customers, the co-workers and full-time staff

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

BSC in Agriculture.

 

Minimum Experience:

20 years’ experience in Landscape field and at least 10 years as Landscape Mgr, responsible for general supervision of the Landscape services and events, supervising and assisting interior and exterior landscape.

Leadership position with a high degree of responsibility in the area of Landscape Mgr.

Responsible for supervising Landscape maintenance, contracts and contractors.

Behavioural Competencies:

Work is performed inside and outside the Property with exposure to inclement weather and unpredictable crisis situations. Shift work required.  Schedule must be flexible.
