Operations & Planning Manager

 

Job Description:

The role acts as the back bone of the business and the primary liaison between the Principal and the business in ensuring proper planning and the whole operations functions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Order planning

  • Monthly update and submission of vehicle model wise plan (Roll-out) to manufacturer after internal alignment  to ensure the annual forecast, allocations and arrivals are in line with business plan.

Product Ordering

  • Ordering vehicles on OEM system on a monthly basis with right colour mix and options agreed with sales team and management.
  • Maintaining master order file to closely monitor the orders status and later the arrivals.
  • Consider latest options restrictions or additions in every order cycle.
  • Propose to management new configurations with better profitability and perceived value to consumer.

Product Pricing

  • Preparation and circulation of cost build up and align internally with the management and integrating all value add costs and OEM eligible Incentives.
  • Developing and circulating price lists across all showrooms on periodical bases.

 

Master Data Maintenance

  • Ensuring input of accurate master data in SAP system for vehicle model codes, vehicle colours, pricing conditions and purchase orders that help in sales operations and trigger of profit and loss statement.

Product Procurement

  • Ensure timely submission of Customs duty/standing guarantee to Al-Futtaim logistics for avoiding late payment charges.
  • Ensure timely preparation of customs duty refund calculation for export cases.

 

Financial Responsibilities that impact Profit and Loss Statement

  • Ensure eligibility and submission for all incentives claims to OEMS related to volume bonus , tactical support , demo program ,,,etc.

Sales Support

  • Monitoring and maintaining forward vehicle booking from the pipe lines orders.
  • Providing easily accessible information to the front end sales staff On details related to product ordered and arriving.
  • Ensuring discount matrix administration
  • Generation and circulation of management approved reports on a daily, 10 day and a monthly basis.

 

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:  University Graduate desirable

 

Minimum Experience: 5 years relevant

 

Job-Specific Competencies: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, IT savvy, knowledge of SAP, excellent organizing and analytical abilities.

 

Behavioural Competencies: Perfect time manager , Leadership abilities, results oriented, ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight timelines.
