Operations Manager OES Parts- After Sales

 

Job Purpose:

The Operations Manager OES Parts is the lead of the OES parts management and sourcing within the Material Management planning team. He/She will create and update comprehensive industry, competitor and vendor information including, but not limited to, market share, growth projections and market trends. He/She will maintain up-to-date knowledge of all the OES parts sources, evaluating their credibility and potential utility and leverage them across the company where appropriate.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Partner Development:

  • Develop strategic partnerships with Suppliers and Traders for sourcing OES parts.
  • Negotiate and procure OES parts at competitive prices to enhance Gross Margin

Centre of Excellence:    

  • Create a group wide strategy to source OES parts.
  • Collate competition data and market trends from internal and external sources to influence competitive sourcing and strategic business decisions.

Market Intelligence:     

  • Perform thorough, systemic analysis of key industry trends, current and potential vendors to allow strategic and tactical decision making and sourcing of OES parts.

Vendor Management:  

  • Lead the supply and availability of OES parts by vendor ensuring lean stock management and high service rate by closely monitoring lead-time and supply chain logistics.

Material Master Management:

  • Ensure new Part Number attributes are based on defined standards as product specifications and vehicle life cycle management.

Lost Sales Management:             

  • Collate lost sales data from BU / MIS team and analyze to identify products and/or parts that potentially could increase company revenue.

 

Specifications:

  • Project Management with strong organization skills
  • Strong data analytical, evaluation and interpretation skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data, including P&L & good business acumen
  • Target oriented and drive to exceed demanding challenges
  • OES Parts knowledge & procurement with Supplier Management
  • Stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate and interact with officials at all levels
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills able to drive best practices and productivity
