JOB PURPOSE

In AFTECH, the IoT Solutions Architect is the passionate point of contact about the intersection of cloud computing, mobile applications, and the Internet-of-Things (IoT).

The IoT Solution Architect must have the ability to put together unique cutting-edge solutions that bring together IoT/Mobile devices and data

With a unique combination of deep technical knowledge, business acumen and strong interpersonal skills, AFTECH is seeking an IoT architect to work with our partners and customers to craft cloud-based IoT solutions

The successful candidate will become a trusted adviser to our customers & will work with product development, and technology as a service, other verticals solution architects and our partners’ IoT / Smart Projects delivery teams to drive solutions adoption & revenue.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

IoT products development and Growth:

• Add partners, start-ups, system integrators and developers to IoT Ecosystem as per GM’s vision and strategy
• Develop Value Propositions with partners via whitepapers and business cases
• Architect end-to-end solutions for our customers using our partners’ IoT and Mobile Services
• Develop IP solutions and new products by engaging with partners and app developers / data scientists building IoT and Mobile solutions
• Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering our solutions
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst AFG digital community
• Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be AFTECH advocates
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support

IoT devices and Lab

• Build a holistic catalogue and supply chain about all IoT devices to be used across all projects
• Advise the functional head on IoT technologies to build an IoT lab to demo AFTECH capabilities and POC projects to internal and external customers
• Share reporting and perform necessary documentation required to develop business case

Self-Improvement

JOB CONTEXT

We are looking for a qualified IoT Solutions Architect to join our team. You will be responsible for performing IoT digital transformation within Al Futtaim Engineering & Technologies and for clients outside the group.

As an IoT Solution Architect, you will be responsible point of contact about the intersection of cloud computing, mobile applications and the Internet-of-Things (IoT).

You will be putting together unique cutting-edge solutions that bring together IoT/Mobile devices and data and protecting them with AFTECH IP to package them as ready to sell on bespoke basis in the market.

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: 

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/ CS.
