• This job is a member of the Information Technology Team within the Information Technology Division.​Responsible for managing the implementation of analytics on AA.com, the app, SSM and multiple additional digital properties.

What you'll do

• Manages the implementation and maintenance of our tools, e.g. Adobe Analytics, Tealium, Adobe Target and Voice of Customer
• Keeps current on new features for our digital tools as well as keeping current on the ever-changing digital marketing technology to ensure that we are fully-utilizing our current tools as well as have the right tools in our stack
• Leads/trains the onboarding of new features and tools
• Builds and manages relationships with stakeholder’s to solution data requirements to fit their needs
• Builds and manages relationships within our technology teams in support of our tools and analytics tracking
• Evangelizes the value of analytics tracking and provides education on how and why where applicable
• Conducts quality assurance checks and data validation, identifies data collection issues and gaps, recommends and implements fixes
• Defines best practice approaches for analyzing user behavior on the online channels, for configuring web analytics technology, and for interpreting data
• Teaches, trains, and guides other analysts with respect to writing analytics requirements
• Fosters best practices and reviews quality of output

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• ​Undergraduate degree in Statistics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or relevant field or equivalent training/experience
• 2 years of experience with web analytics applications (Adobe Analytics, Core Metrics, Tealeaf, Google Analytics, etc.)
• 2 years of experience with tag management systems (Tealium, Ensighten, Adobe DTM, etc.)
   

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• ​Master's Statistics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or relevant field
• Web and travel industry experience
• Experience with usability, conversion analysis, and multivariate testing
   

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

• ​Highly motivated/self-starter with a sense of ownership, willingness to learn, high degree of curiosity and desire to succeed
• Database query experience (SQL, SAS, Oracle, Datameer)
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities/projects on strict deadlines with minimal supervision/direction
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
