What you'll do

The BOW Planner will monitor AO&M repair/refurbishment process to effectively administer adjustments to work scope as required to meet schedule requirements. Maintain a review of the AO&M repair/Modification process to ensure continual compliance with the required specification and corrdinate changes with organizations involved. Execute and cooridnate product information delivery to various levels of leadership through the use of available systems. Must identify deficiencies and problems independtly and develop solutions for product team review. Successful candidate would use a wide range of data sources, both electronic and notes, and his/her own experience in the field to develop accurate and efficient work scope to produce and Aircraft BOW.

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • High School, GED or equivalent diploma required
  • Must have a solid background in Repair/ Modification processess with respect to Aircraft/ Engine Overhaul
  • Must be able to review and process large amounts of technical data to produce an accurate work scope
  • Strong communication skills required
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays and days-off required
  • Must be able to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
  • Ability to learn PC applications and apply knowledge
  • Famililarity with numerous cross functional areas in the Aircraft Overhaul and Modification environment
  • Must work with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, oral and written skills
  • Must work well under deadlines and high volume stress of project work
  • Ability to serve as a spokesperson on specialized programs or projects
  • Must be able to exercise sound judgment when making recommendations using information gathered / reviewed
  • Flexible and capable of adapting to constant change
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects concurrently

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • 5 years of technical experience in Aircraft Overhaul and Modification Planning experience
  • Technical Degree or an A & P License
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • College degree, A&P license, Aircraft Routing, Project Management, Crew Scheduling, Production Support experience is a plus
