                                  Vehicle Preparation Agent Supervisor- HERTZ

 

Job Purpose: To improve the overall Customer Experience by ensuring the Vehicle Preparation team adheres to agreed Hertz standards concerning vehicle preparation.

 

Job Description:

Quality Checks:

  • Ensure that a random check of 5 vehicles per shift is done to ensure that the Hertz vehicle cleaning standards are maintained
  • Any discrepancy noticed must be promptly reported to Team Leader.
  • Ensure all VPAs trained on Vehicle Acceptance Criteria, Vehicle Preparation Standard Work and Damage Identification.

Huddle Board Update: 

  • Ensure that the Huddle board is updated before the start of shift as per template provided
  • Conduct a huddle with all VPAs before the start of each shift

 

Order of Production Bar Update:             

  • Update the Order of Production Bar with the required vehicle cards as per business requirements.
  • Reconcile the manifest with the excel file maintained by the Shift Supervisor
  • Ensure VPAs is selecting and preparing correct vehicles as per Substitution Matrix

 

VPA Productivity Report:            

  • Ensure the VPA productivity report is updated on a daily basis
  • Daily Car Wash report shared with Team Leader on daily basis.
  • Productivity report shared with the Team Leader on a weekly basis

 

Vehicle Cleaning Material Procurement and Inventory:

  • Maintain proper inventory of all materials required for vehicle cleaning and ensure proper stock is maintained.
  • Coordinate with various vendors to ensure we obtain materials at competitive rates

 

 

Fuel Management:        

  • Ensure the Fuel Consumption is entered daily
  • Perform Daily Fuel Consumption Comparison and share report with Team Leader
  • Order fuel as per SOP

 

Yard Cleaning Management:     

  • Ensure that the cleaning of the yard is managed as per agreement with the Facilities department
  • Contact with waste company to remove garbage from yard accordingly

 

Waste Water Management:      

  • Check Tank level
  • Coordinate with vendor
  • Receive service report, handling and reporting Trade Waste Discharge Permit Letters

 

Lost and Found Items Management:     

  • Ensure all Lost and Found items are promptly recorded in the Lost and Found items Log
  • Ensure all items are properly managed as per the Standard work for Lost and Found items

 

Admin and Inventory:  

  • Inventory of dirty branches (79, 120) to avoid ageing vehicles and child seats.
  • Perform DSM inventory on daily basis
  • Ensure all transfers is done correctly. Check in and check out in appropriate branch. Open NRTs are closed on daily basis.

 

Qualification, Experience & Skills:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: Secondary School Certificate

 

Job-Specific Skills: Knowledge of different vehicle specifications and operations

 

Behavioral Competencies: Team Work, Customer Focus, Individual Accountability and Continuous Improvement
