  • This position is part of the Fleet and Regional Coordination Team. This position will have primary responsibility for Regional Coordination.
  • In this role, you will help establish the strategic framework of our Regional network by evaluating hub deployment scenarios that maximize revenue while ensuring infrastructure and operational constraints are satisfied.

What you'll do

  • Develop Regional hub deployment strategies for the short, medium, and long-term that optimize aircraft type/gauge deployment by hub while considering gating and operational limitations.
  • Work with the Regional Team and our Regional Partners to establish the minimum maintenance requirements (MMR) needed to ensure the operational viability of schedules.
  • Audit schedules at various stages of development to ensure they are in line with our deployment strategy and are in compliance with the MMR. When discrepancies are found, work closely with the Scheduling Team and our Regional Partners to find mutually acceptable solutions.
  • Lead monthly meetings with Sr. Leadership from our Regional Partners to share updated schedule and forecast information and to gather their feedback. When significant challenges are identified, advocate for the Regional Partners to mitigate the issues in current and future schedule development.
  • Support the Budget and monthly Rolling Level processes by providing updated projections of Regional utilization and flying profiles.
  • Present analyses, strategies and results to all levels of the organization.

What you'll do

  • Apply analytical modeling and data optimizing methods using advanced MS Excel to develop and interpret information that assists management with decision-making, policy formulation, growth evaluation and financial analyses.
  • Perform validation of models to ensure adequacy, define data requirements, and gather and validate information, applying judgement and statistical tests.
  • Develop performance measurements and analytical tools to improve profitability and planning / forecasting processes.
  • Develop periodic reports on a wide range of strategic and tactical analyses / projects outlining key business drivers and explain variances against budget.
  • Analyze data derived from various areas, such as booking activity, fleet analyses, market trends, ROI analyses, performance and budget analyses, profitability statistics, previous campaign results, site statistics, marketing efforts, revenue management, and pricing trends in order to devise strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
  • Interact with other groups including Corporate Real Estate, Finance, Network Planning, Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, various operational groups, Joint Business partners and Regional affiliates.

All you'll need for success

  • Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience/training
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in airline Network Planning/Scheduling, Revenue Management or analytical field, or Master’s degree in a related field
  • Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
    • Knowledge of AirVision Schedule Manager
  • Skills, Licenses & Certifications
    • Eager to solve complex problems and puzzles in a constrained and dynamic environment
    • Ability to leverage understanding of the airline business and commercial goals to drive results and innovative solutions
    • Adaptive to new ideas and business processes in an ever-changing marketplace

    • Skilled at sharing knowledge to develop the expertise of the team as a whole
