Job Title:                                            Fire Alarm Technician

Reporting Manager:                       Sr. Electrical Engineer / Site Engineer

Direct Reports:                                Varies depending of Project Size / Value

Department:                                    Al-Futtaim Engineering (MEP - CLS Division)

Location:                                           Abu Dhabi, UAE

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Engineering activities

• Reading the drawings of the fire alarm systems.
• Measurement of the cable works required.
• Coordinate with the site team to get the task completed.             

Client co-ordination

• Work safely as per the project requirement.
• Complete the tasks of cabling works related.

Project Execution

• Handling the daily activities of sites.
• Install and Monitor the progress of the sites activities closely.
• To practice the machines to get the task of cable pulling, termination and devise fixing completed.

Task completion according to the AHU drawings

• Attending the authority’s inspections
• Be able to perform the tests AHU required.          

Project Delivery Cost

• To furnish the installation works with the minimum cost of fittings and consumables.                  
• The jobholder will be responsible with the project team to monitor costs and prepare and manage actions to maintain cost targets.
