- The eLearning developer provides technical expertise, solid front-end coding skills and innovative thinking to ensure world-class learning experiences for our team members. This role is part of the Learning Solutions team and is responsible for designing and developing digital applications and tools in support of a variety of training and talent development programs
What you'll do
- Collaborate with instructional designers to enhance and/or modify existing course designs and storyboards
- Create custom code and interface elements
- Use technology and multimedia appropriately to enhance training
- Provide technology support for deployed training programs as needed
- Consult with internal customers regarding design, development, and revision of their training products
- Ensure projects proceed in a timely manner and deadlines are met, utilizing project management tools and maintaining open communication with stakeholders and team members
- Maintain currency with evolving development technologies, industry trends and research
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
• 2 years of experience with UX/UI development and design
• 2 years of experience with front-end development tools/frameworks, including: HTML/5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular JS, Bootstrap, AJAX, Mobile standards
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Experience working with rapid content development tool(s) such as Articulate Storyline, Rise 360 and/or Vyond
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Animate
- Experience working with a Learning Management System (SumTotal)
- Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies
- Use course editor software to create multimedia training materials in SCORM format
- Knowledge of airline operations
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
- Acute attention to detail
- Efficiency in multi-tasking, a high degree of organization, and ability to prioritize
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
