  • Coordinates the delivery and facilitation of Airport Customer Service training programs.
  • Assists with training project coordination including logistics planning and implementation, as well as communication with learners, station leaders and all training stakeholders.
  • The role is a part of the Airport and Performance Readiness team within our Airport & Cargo Excellence group.

What you'll do

  • Conduct American Airlines initial, recurrent and operational training programs
  • Supervise, guide and mentor learners while in training
  • Remain current on all policies and procedures related to Airport Customer Service job functions
  • Ensure learners are given proper credit for course completion in the LMS
  • Assist with updates and maintenance of course curricula to ensure content is current, complete and accurate
  • Support and participate in special projects/programs as requested by peers and leaders
  • Develop positive and collaborative working relationships with all colleagues and associates

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Must be a kind and caring team member
  • Operational experience as an airline Customer Service Agent or equivalent position is required
  • Knowledge of QIK CHK, NetTracer, Gate Reader and other Customer Service Programs
  • Detailed knowledge of all aspects of Airport Customer Service Policies and Procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; an accomplished and engaging presenter
  • Solid proficiency with MS Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint
  • Must be a strong collaborator who can effectively drive for results and independently solve problems
  • Willingness to travel independently; both domestically and internationally
  • Ability to adapt to a wide variety of teaching environments and delivery methods

 

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • 2+ years working in a corporate training environment is preferred
