This job is a member of the Customer Insights & Loyalty Team within the Cobrand Program. Senior Analyst / Analyst on the AAdvantage Co-Brand team, one of the largest co-brand credit card programs in the U.S., is responsible to support business efforts across the co-brand team to drive acquisitions, increase card member engagement, enhance data platforms, and propel innovation initiatives The ideal candidate must be a self-starter that enjoys actively seeking new business opportunities and identifying creative ways to grow our share of wallet. This position is on the MasterCard team.
What you'll do
- Partner with issuer banks and MasterCard to develop and execute customer engagement strategies throughout the year, and measure associated KPIs and success metrics to gauge effectiveness
- Identify opportunities to work with MasterCard to bring incremental value to broader Loyalty and airline initiatives
- Help develop an annual marketing budget and optimize the use of funds to achieve annual objectives for growth and engagement for the AA cobrand card business
- Develop and execute impactful social amplification and influencer narrative inclusive of strategy, research/testing, creative, production and paid media with the support of our partner, and creative and media agencies
- Responsible for project management and facilitating/coordinating cross-functional initiatives with external and internal stakeholders including AAdvantage, Digital, Marketing, Legal, IT, etc.
- Help create reports and presentations that help the senior management navigate through key issues in the partnership and make decisions to maximize the value for American Airlines.

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required in Marketing, Business, Finance, or equivalent training/experience
- 3 or more years experience in business and/or marketing

Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience in relationship management
- Self-starter with proven capability to collaborate across cross-functional teams, build consensus, and bring ideas to fruition in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in the financial industry, particularly with the credit card industry
- Customer focused, highly analytical, thinks creatively and is persuasive with internal and external stakeholders to overcome obstacles
- Strong written and verbal communicator who is able to clearly convey thoughts and opinions in a variety of forums including presentations to senior management, discussions with external partners and interactions with peers
- Proven leadership, organizational and negotiation skills with an ability to execute multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Some travel may be required
